AWS Partner · Cloud engineering · Applied AI
Everything above grounddepends on what's under it.
Stackroot designs, migrates, and runs AWS infrastructure — and builds the AI systems that live on it — for companies that can't afford weak foundations.
Who it's for
Three ways teams come to us
What we build
Six services, one foundation
What working with us produces
You keep the output
Terraform in your repos, not ours
Every piece of infrastructure ships as code you own. When we leave, nothing walks out the door with us.
Architecture decision records for every choice
Each significant decision is written down — the options, the trade-off, the reason. Your next engineer inherits context, not mystery.
Runbooks your team can execute at 3am
Deploys, rollbacks, and incident response documented as steps a tired on-call engineer can follow without us on the phone.
A Well-Architected review before anything ships
We check the design against the AWS Well-Architected pillars while it's still cheap to change, and hand you the findings.
How we engage
Three ways to work with us
Sprint
Fixed scope · 2–6 weeks
A defined build with a clear finish line — a landing zone, a pipeline, a RAG feature. You know the scope and the price before we start.
Foundation
Architecture + migration program
A larger program that stands up your AWS foundation or moves you onto it, run in phases with checkpoints you approve as we go.
Retained
Ongoing platform engineering
We keep operating and extending your platform month to month — the standing engineering team you don't have to hire yet.
Scoped in a 30-minute call. Proposal within 3 business days.
How we operate
Three things we hold to
Code is the deliverable
Not slides, not a strategy deck. What you pay for is infrastructure as code, application code, and the documentation to run it. If it isn't in your repository, we haven't delivered it.
Boring in production is the goal
We optimize for the systems you forget about because they never page you. Novelty is a cost, not a feature. We reach for the proven pattern before the interesting one.
You should be able to fire us
We build so that leaving is painless: your code, your accounts, your runbooks. A client who could replace us tomorrow and chooses not to is the only endorsement worth having.
Tell us what you're building.
A 30-minute call is enough to scope most work. We'll follow up with a written proposal within three business days.
